BEEES Mario Kart Grand Prix ๐ŸŽ๏ธ๐Ÿ Date: Thursday 20 BEEES Mario Kart Grand Prix ๐ŸŽ๏ธ๐Ÿ Date: Thursday 20th November Time: 8pm - 10pm Location: Senate House Living Room 2 ๐ŸŒŸ: The dust has barely settled from our decisive laser tag victory over the other engineering faculties, where our strategic targeting algorithms and optimized combat formations proved superior. But the battlefield now shifts from laser-tag arenas to the digital racetracks of the Mushroom Kingdom. Control a plumber and his friends as they drive in outworldly locations. Winner gets the ultimate bragging rights!!

Here is a quick run down of our annual Robot Wars event for Winter 2025: Competitors ๐Ÿ† Weigh ins open from 10:15am and go on until 11am! The hackspace will be open from 10 so you can complete your final touches. Please note you will not be able to compete if you are not weighed in by 11 with a sufficiently functioning 150g robot. If you have your team, we would appreciate if you took the time to fill in the sign up form so that you can get through weigh ins faster. Make sure that the person who bought the kit is the one to sign up to ensure that the kit can be reimbursed after the competition. Spectators ๐Ÿ”Ž Please arrive for 11am - fights will start soon after ๐Ÿค–: It's not too late to build a robot, we still have 2 workshop sessions before the event. Follow the link in our bio, or contact us, for more details! ๐Ÿฅช: We will have an introductory speech with a briefing on how the fights will go after the weigh ins then launch straight into the fights. Lunch and snacks will be provided with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options available. After lunch, the final knockouts will happen as well as friendly fights and the battle royale. ๐ŸŽ: Winners will be announced towards the end of the day with cash and t-shirt prizes available across multiple categories!
