Come along to an exclusive opportunity to meet the Head of Verification for the CPUs, from ARM - a leading UK semiconductor company. It is a good opportunity to get insight into the realities of working in the technology and semiconductor industry.

You’ll hear:

🤔 What working on CPUs is really like
👷 Challenges in semiconductor industry
📝 What skills companies actually care about

It’s also a really good chance to ask questions, eat tasty pizza, learn something new, and even make yourself known - which can go a long way.

IT’S THE MOMENT YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR! THE DRAMA! THE DESTRUCTION AND CHAOS! THE FREE PIZZA! 🍕 COME AND BATTLE IT OUT FOR HONOUR AND GLORY! Robot Wars is upon us!

If you would like to make final adjustments to your robot, the hackspace will be open from 10am. Bring your robots for weigh-ins between 10:15 and 11am on the 7th of March at MVB 1.11/1.11A! if you don’t get through weigh ins by 11am, you are barred from competing so be prepared!

From 11 we will have a small introduction speech as well as a word from our sponsors before launching into our pool fights that will run until lunch. After lunch, we will have final knock outs, some friendlies and a battle royale before crowning our winners! Representatives from our company sponsors for the event will be attending so it could be a good chance to network!
