Spring Robot Wars 2024
The competition will take place in room 1.11/1.11A at MVB on Saturday, 16th March, 2024. All competitors should be at the location by 10am and the event itself will start at 11am. Expect some free pizza for lunch that day!
If you want to compete, we have a guide on how to make robots at: tr.ee/BQA_5RebGB. Come to our building sessions, every Wednesday afternoon (except reading week), for help with designing and building robots at the Queens GE lab. Parts can be purchased from our part shop BEEES Robot Wars Store Hub @ Bristol SU, or from shop.bristolbotbuilders.com/ with the discount code BrisUni.

Competing robots must adhere to Antweight World Series (www.robotwars101.org/ants/rules.htm) rules, with the following changes:
- There is no size limit, other than that the robot must fit through the 39x20cm arena doors. The 150g weight limit still applies.
- Any team using LiPo batteries must have done a LiPo induction with technical services, and must be using university approved batteries, with an approved case and fuse board.
- If a robot’s battery or battery case becomes exposed during a fight then the robot immediately loses.
